Yesterday I went out window shopping for the first time in what feels like forever! It was nice to see some of the spring looks at various stores and of course I came home with a few things on my “wish list”. I’m super happy to see the Designers Remix SS13 in the flesh, I pretty much want the entire line (especially this skirt). I also popped in to Topshop to look for a new blazer and picked out this Boyfriend style, and then this Chambray suit caught my eye. I wouldn’t mind having something like that for the warmer weather!
This past weekend Finderskeepers threw their design/clothing market at Korsgadehallen. There were tons of sellers with handmade jewellery, big color-block posters, and screen prints galore. My friends Double Standard, WAAITT, My Buemann, and Liv Caroline looked great at their tables. I spotted a cool sweatshirt style leather top from Hide and noticed that soon they’ll have a webshop.
Pernille Snedker Hansen, aka Snedker Studio, is on the hunt for some new branding of her work… so of course I looked into it and… holy crow! What incredible art she makes with wood and coloring. At first I admired her finished pieces but was even more pleased to find she also has a video to explain the process. Taking old techniques of marbling and applying them to the natural growth of wood sounds difficult enough, but her explorations create a successful harmony. How fun would it be to have wood floors like this in your home?
With slightly warmer weather, I’ve been thinking about what kind of dress I wear to death this spring… and there’s been only one thing on my mind: the white dress Parker Posey wears in her film Broken English (bottom of cover) — but I can’t find anything like it! Anyhow the film is a charming dark-ish comedy about a romantically jaded female from New York who’s world is changed by a Frenchman. Her hair and clothing are a bohemian / dressy-yet-casual style. I like!
The sun is shining today in Denmark — a FIRST in a long time! Signs of spring are slowly appearing (our little spring flowers are poking their heads up) and I’m in the mood to take a walk in the woods. I also want to bring the wood home, so I’ll share a couple things I’d enjoy having in my apartment with you.

Copenhagen Fashion Week/Festival is in full swing! Later on this week I will stop by some local shops that are throwing competitions and sales just to see what’s happening with my favorite brands. Since I haven’t attended any runway shows, I’m fortunate enough to have a front-row seat right at my desk! Here are some of my favorite SS13 collections so far… I am absolutely bonkers about Designers Remix and Wood Wood’s collection, the colors and cuts are stunning, I’d wear all of it. What are you looking forward to fashion-wise this Spring/Summer?
